Clinical Care
Clinical assessment and treatment of benign skin concerns
At Gray's Aesthetics, skin health is just as important as aesthetic treatment. In addition to aesthetic procedures, I offer clinical assessment and treatment of common benign skin concerns, with a focus on safety, accuracy and reassurance.
Advanced mole screening with consultant dermatologist review
Map My Mole is a clinically led service designed to assess moles and skin lesions quickly and accurately. High-resolution images are taken and securely sent to a consultant dermatologist for review.
You may wish to have a mole assessed if you notice:
Early assessment provides reassurance and, where necessary, guidance on next steps.
This provides a fast and convenient alternative to waiting for referral through traditional pathways.
Map My Mole is a screening service and does not replace a full dermatology consultation where required. If further investigation is recommended, appropriate referral pathways will be discussed.
Precise removal of benign skin lesions
CryoPen® is a medical device used to treat a range of benign skin lesions using controlled cryotherapy. It works by delivering a fine jet of cold nitrous oxide gas to the targeted area, causing the lesion to freeze and gradually resolve.
All lesions are assessed prior to treatment to ensure suitability.
In some cases, more than one treatment may be required.
You may experience redness, mild swelling and a small scab or crust forming. Healing occurs over several days to weeks depending on the lesion.
Only benign lesions are treated. If there is any uncertainty, you will be advised to seek further medical assessment before treatment. Your safety is always the priority.
If you have noticed a new or changing skin lesion, it is always best to have it checked.
