What is Profhilo®?

Profhilo® is not a filler and does not add volume. Instead, it stimulates collagen and elastin production, improves skin elasticity and firmness, enhances hydration within the skin, supports tissue remodelling and improves overall skin quality. It spreads beneath the skin following injection, allowing for a more natural, global improvement.

How is it done?

Profhilo® is administered using a specific injection technique known as the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique. This involves a small number of carefully placed injections, allowing the product to disperse evenly beneath the skin. Treatment is quick and well tolerated.

Treatment course

A course of two treatments, four weeks apart, is typically recommended. Maintenance treatments may be advised depending on your skin and treatment goals.

A regenerative approach

Profhilo® is often used as part of a wider skin health plan. Depending on your skin, it may be combined, where appropriate, with treatments such as polynucleotides, exosomes, Celora Vita™ and microneedling.

Only genuine Profhilo® products are used, sourced from regulated UK pharmacies. Authentic products can be identified by a hologram on the packaging - an important reassurance in a market where counterfeit products have been reported.

Downtime

You may notice small injection points immediately after treatment. These typically settle within 24 hours. Bruising is possible but not common.
