Restoring structure, balance and natural facial harmony
Dermal fillers are used to restore lost volume, support facial structure and improve overall balance. When performed with a considered, full-face approach, they can create subtle yet significant improvements, helping you look fresher, more rested and more like yourself.
You may wish to explore treatment if you have noticed:
Ageing affects not just the skin, but the deeper structures of the face. Dermal fillers can help to restore this support in a natural, proportionate way.
At Gray's Aesthetics, dermal filler treatment is never about treating a single line or area in isolation. Instead, I take a full-face approach, assessing how different areas work together to create balance and harmony. Often, small amounts placed in the right areas can make a significant difference.
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, typically based on hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found within the body. They restore volume, support facial structure, improve contour and definition, soften deeper lines and enhance facial balance. The aim is always natural, subtle improvement - never overcorrection.
The temple is often overlooked, yet plays a key role in facial balance. Restoring volume in this area can improve upper face contour, support the brow area, reduce a hollow or sunken appearance and contribute to a more refreshed overall look. This is an advanced treatment and is only carried out following careful assessment.
Following consultation and facial assessment, a treatment plan is created, product is placed using needle or cannula (depending on the area), placement is precise and conservative, and results are assessed throughout. The focus is always on balance and proportion.
You may experience mild swelling, tenderness and occasional bruising. These effects are usually temporary and settle within a few days.
My approach to dermal fillers is subtle, not obvious; structured, not overfilled; tailored, not standardised. The goal is always to enhance your natural features - not change them.
Dermal fillers are not always the first step. During consultation, we will assess your face as a whole and advise whether fillers, skin treatments or a combination approach would be most appropriate.
